Tulipa binutans

Origin - Central Asia. My stock is grown from seeds collected by me on Kyrgyz Ridge, Kyrgyzstan, Northern Tian-Shan. Comparatively tall tulip from Biflora Section. It can have up to 11 fragrant flowers on one stalk, which open afternoon.

Locality – sunny place; well drained soil

Tulipa buhseana

Origin - Central Asia. My stock is grown from seeds collected by me near Kapchagai reservoir, Kazakhstan, Northern Tian-Shan. This species is very close to previous (T.binutans).The difference is in habitat, T.buhseana is plant from deserts and steppes; binutans is from low mountains. In my garden T.buhseana blooms earlier, opens flower at least two hours earlier and is more fragrant than T.binutans. But it is more difficult plants in cultivation also.

Tulipa cf dasystemon TOKTOGUL

Origin - Central Asia. I found this tulip a few years ago near the Toktogul reservoir in Kyrgyzstan. This is the smallest tulip I have ever seen. It blooms earlier than the typical Tulipa dasystemon. It makes new bulbs on horizontal stolons every season.

Tulipa dubia BELDERSAI

Origin - Central Asia. This form of T.dubia was found in the Beldersay Valley in Uzbekistan, Western Tien Shan. Strong plant with almost completely purple leaves.

Tulipa aff ferganica

Origin - Central Asia. My stock is grown from plants wich were found by me on Fergana ridge, Kyrgyzstan. It looks as stronger and higher form of T.ferganica. Another point of view is that this is true T. ferganica and not the more xerophytic tulip I offer above.

Origin - Central Asia. Colorful variety of T.kaufmanniana, which was selected by Zenaida Botschantzeva during her work in Botanical Garden in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Tulipa x linifolia

I sowed the seeds in 2015 as the seeds of the T.linifolia x ostrowskiana hybrid. I do not see T.ostrowskiana blood and any color or shape deviations. It may be pure Tulipa linifolia, but I'm not sure. In any case, this is a beautiful dwarf bright red tulip with grayish leaves.

Tulipa cf ostrowskiana JETY-JOL

Origin - Central Asia. This yellow tulip is known from several points of the Trans-Ili and Kyrgyz ranges. It is sometimes identified as T.zenaidae or T.ostrowskiana, or as a natural hybrid of T.ostrowskiana x kolpakowskiana. In my opinion, this is an undescribed new species.
